Lexy Tracy is the 2025 Chapter Chair for YPT Philly and a Civil Engineering Analyst at Kimley-Horn, where she works on transportation planning and traffic operations. Her passion for sustainability, equity, and safety in transportation has grown through her work on traffic analysis, signal design, and safety planning projects over the past three years in Philadelphia.

After serving as Deputy Chair, Lexy is excited to step into the Chair role and help YPT Philly grow even more in 2025, creating new opportunities for transportation professionals.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Lexy earned her civil engineering degree from Lehigh University, which brought her to the east coast. In her free time, she loves hiking, biking, skiing, surfing, and trying out new outdoor sports, as well as traveling and exploring the east coast.

Chris Edwards is a Civil Engineering Specialist in the Traffic and Infrastructure group at STV, bringing three years of experience to the transportation industry. As an Engineer-in-Training (EIT), he has played a key role in the planning and design of projects for PennDOT, the City of Philadelphia, and the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA). 

In his first year as Deputy Chair, Chris is focused on fostering a supportive community and creating diverse professional growth opportunities, from happy hours to educational tours. He also strengthens YPT Philly’s connections with groups like ASCE YMF, AASHE, and WTS to expand its impact.

A 2024 graduate of Drexel University, outside of work, Chris is a passionate Philly sports fan, an avid golfer, and enjoys playing basketball and spending time with friends. #TrustTheProcess #GoBirds

Sophia Fox is a Strategic Communications Coordinator at HDR with over six years of experience in the transportation field. Now in her second year as YPT Philly’s Director of Communications, she’s excited to continue educating young professionals about YPT, helping to create meaningful professional connections and highlighting the wide variety of career paths in transportation.

At HDR, Sophia specializes in outreach and engagement, helping a variety of clients like the City of Philadelphia, NYC MTA, and ODOT build strong relationships with communities and stakeholders.

Outside of work, Sophia enjoys walking around Philly, exploring new restaurants with friends, and trying to stick to her running routine.

Grace is a Transportation Analyst at the Northeast Corridor Commission, where she recently transitioned to the public sector after starting her career as a planner in consulting. A 2023 Environmental Studies graduate from Drexel University, Grace was able to study the intersections between sustainability, environmental justice, and city planning. In her third co-op with SEPTA’s Office of Innovation, she discovered her passion for transportation planning.

As YPT Philly’s Director of Finance, Grace is excited to give back to an organization that helped her make connections and explore the diverse opportunities in transportation after graduation. She’s committed to maintaining YPT Philly’s welcoming environment while fostering new experiences and connections for members.

When the weather’s nice, Grace loves cycling around the city and to Wissahickon Valley Park. On rainy days, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with friends.

After graduating from Clemson University in the Spring of 2022, Archie started full-time as a Structural Engineering Specialist with STV Inc. In addition to bridge design, he has been cross-trained in Civil Highway tasks and has done work with Electrification and Automation. When away from work he enjoys golfing, fishing, and going down the shore with friends. 

As YPT Philly’s Director of Sponsorship for the second year, Archie is dedicated to raising funds to support events and other initiatives that help grow the organization.

A Senior Transportation Analyst at Insight Transportation Consulting, Inc. Hailey works on transit ridership forecasting and travel demand modeling, helping agencies across the country plan for the future of transportation. She brings experience in land use data, safety planning studies, and served on Florida DOT’s Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Coalition. Skilled in tools like ArcPro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Tableau, she supports corridor studies and performance analyses.

As YPT Philly’s Director of Membership, Hailey is excited to connect transportation professionals in Philadelphia and engage local college students exploring the industry.

When she’s not working, you can find Hailey skiing, walking around South Philly, biking the Schuylkill River Trail, or spending time with her husband, friends, and family.

Gus is a Roadway Engineer at RK&K and YPT Philly’s first-ever Director of Programs. He’s looking forward to organizing events that bring in new members and becoming more involved with YPT Philly.

Since graduating from Carnegie Mellon in 2022, Gus has worked on projects focused on multimodal transportation, designing bike lanes, greenways, and ADA curb ramps. In his free time, Gus enjoys cycling, catching movies, building Legos, reading, and cheering on Philly sports teams.
